Florida weather plan
Sunshine and sudden showers both come with the territory. Here is how we handle them.
When we cancel or postpone
If severe weather makes it unsafe to set up or operate an inflatable, Ty’s House of Bounce reserves the right to cancel or postpone the rental. Unsafe conditions include, but are not limited to:
- Strong or sustained winds
- Lightning or severe thunderstorms
- Heavy or prolonged rain
- Flooding, standing water, or unsafe ground
- Hurricanes or other severe weather
Inflatables are not operated when conditions exceed safe limits. As a general guideline, winds approaching or exceeding 15 mph may require the inflatable to be shut down. Manufacturer and safety requirements for the specific unit always come first.
Rain and passing showers
A typical Florida rain shower does not automatically cancel your rental. Light rain may be fine depending on the type of equipment and current conditions.
If heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning, or unsafe winds show up during your rental, everyone must exit the inflatable right away, and the equipment may need to be shut down until conditions are safe.
